On or about May 5, 2016, the National Federation of Federal Employees, Local 919, filed a comprehensive FLSA & Overtime Grievance against the United States Department of the Navy, Naval Hospital and Naval Dental Center, Camp Pendleton, CA. The Union’s Grievance covered those who were in the bargaining unit at any time from May 5, 2014 through March 13, 2024. The Law Offices of Snider & Associates, LLC, was retained to represent the interests of the Union in this matter.
A $5 million settlement was obtained, with the majority of these settlement proceeds attributable to overtime backpay owed to current and former covered employees. Class Action Implementation Group (CAIG) was retained to implement the settlement and payment distribution process.
